Wonder if he is good enough for the starting spot? I'm guessing him and Hali will have to fight it out next year.

Why? Who is on the other end of the D-line that is so fantastic that both those guys couldn't play? Hali isn't too bad, but we need another book end so that the linebackers and D-tackles can wreak more havoc.

Well... any havoc, actually...

I'm guessing we draft our RDE OR sign our RDE in FA this year. Is why I think Hali and Babin could fight it out for the left side.

I like the idea of Babin coming in as the backup for both RDE and LDE.

Yeah, when you put it like that I can can see what you're saying. If we get a stallion RDE either through the draft or FA, and this Babin guy, I can see where the battle would be.

Hopefully for the Cheifs, the battle is for the head coaching slot.

No. He was one of the people we picked up off waivers after Mcbride went onto IR.

Both DE are crap. Babin is constantly jumping off sides. Most times he resets in time, but he jumps at least once in every 6 plays.

He has the best first step of any DE I've seen play fro you guys this season though.

Both DT's are burlap bags filled with potatoes. They got their payday and you have to understand that when they get signed like that, they will be slow growers. IE: Mario Williams and sleu of other D linemen drafted early.

Real quick, He is so fast that he beats the center from snapping the ball.

He lacks discipline, and I am guessing that is why he was unemployed half way through the season.

If I remember correctly Jared did allot of goofy stuff the first year or two.

For players on the Dline, it usually takes them 3 years to develop. Look at Mario Williams this season. He's having another great season. He already has 11 sack and 4 forced fumbles. Give the Chiefs DTs some time.
