Browns hire Mangini as next coach

NFL.com

The Cleveland Browns (http://www.nfl.com/teams/clevelandbrowns/profile?team=CLE)' search for their next coach is over.
The Browns reached agreement with former New York Jets (http://www.nfl.com/teams/newyorkjets/profile?team=NYJ) coach Eric Mangini on Wednesday to fill the same post in Cleveland. Mangini, 37, was fired last week after three seasons with the Jets.
A press conference has been called for 10 a.m. ET on Thursday.
Mangini was believed to be the favorite for the position that was opened when the Browns fired Romeo Crennel last week. The Browns also interviewed New York Giants (http://www.nfl.com/teams/newyorkgiants/profile?team=NYG) defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and Cleveland defensive coordinator Mel Tucker for the vacancy.

this could mean pioli is out of the picture for cleveland. mangini and pioli dont like each other so much ever since spygate

A mediocre coach for a mediocre franchise. Good for them.
