I have always hesitated to tell anyone in the Crowd about this, but I am something of a clairvoyant. I know what will happen before it happens. Feel free to ask on this thread whatever questions about the Chiefs that are bothering you and I will give you an answer. I am the b@stard son of a gypsy and an Indian Shaman. Ask me and I will tell you the ways of the Chiefs...

Don't believe me? Look back in two months. The Chiefs do not pick a QB with the first pick.

Im working on how to explain to my fiance why we need to go to KC for our honeymoon (wedding Sept 5th) instead of Hawaii, where we met. I think I am wearing her down ...

Hopefully the season opener will be week 2 or 3 and I can do both! :yahoo:

That is assuming the Navy doesnt send me off to play GI Joes in the desert. :armee_smilies128:

WTF? I would go to Hawaii. This is a rebuilding year, and I wouldn't expect a whole lot of wins this year, maybe 7-9. Then again, I am in love with Hawaii, and I plan on moving there and starting my career.

I guess that seems like an alright reason to miss the party. Tell her that you put together a huge reception of Chiefs fans for her and that she has to go to KC on a layover on the wayto Hawaii!! :D

Hawaii is there year round, there is only one Home Opener every year. I'm disappointed!

Ive been deployed but not to the desert yet. Im scheduled to go either this fall or next spring, depending on things way above my paygrade. Either way Im looking forward to it.

Very good points Canada. If she would believe that one, then she might be too stupid to marry (KC is a little out of the way when you are in California) ... or too stupid not to marry, depending on your preference.

Who will be the defensive coordinator next year?

This might come as quite a surprise, but the Chiefs will hire a relative unknown in Tom Staley. Staley has absolutely no DC experience, and, in fact, has never coached a football game. When asked why the reason is behind this strange hiring, Pioli answers, "Haley, Gailey, and Staley. How cool is that?"

Will LJ be cut, traded, or kept?

None of the above. LJ will have a little "accident" while hunting with Pioli in June.

Only 4 times.

prough91

3-4 or 4-3?

This is one h*ll of a shock. The Chiefs are going to institute what they will call the M-16. There will be one DT, 3 LBs, 6 Safeties, and one kicker. Unfortunately, they scrap this defense after one game. My supernatural insight shows me that if they had kept with it, and let the defense jell, they would have won the Super Bowl in 2010.

Telling you my favorite color doesn't really take any special insight, but it is black.

Who will our FA acquisitions be?

We are going to sign Rob Bironas and John Carney. It's a little fuzzy after that, but there is a good chance we might get Jay Feely.

Yes. You will pick up a KC Cheerleader who happens to be transgender. Before you know what happens he/she bites it off.

There are many things to do in KC other than watching the Chiefs such as going to a Royals game, Worlds of Fun and the all world famous barbqueas well as great Blues and Jazz clubs. The best part of it all is the cost is about 1/3 the cost of traveling to Hawaii. Best of luck dude! :bananen_smilies046:yeah, i've heard of the great BBQ's they have in KC. I'd love to go to KC one day!

Wow, I cant believe your looking forward to it! Two of my best friends have been though and the one is getting ready for her second round, the other went three times and promised he would sign to go again for awhile he already recieved a purple heart, and my Husband spent a year in Tikrit, Iraq. I was so not made to be a military wife, I was a nervous wreck the entire time! But if you do go, best of luck, and we will stand behind you :)

It sounds weird to be looking forward to it, but that is the reason I became a doctor and joined the Navy. Since I got into med school, I wanted to take care of all those 17, 18 year old kids out there risking their lives kicking in doors. Im anxious to go and do my job.
