Linebacker Takeo Spikes re-signed on Wednesday with the San Francisco 49ers, who also signed veteran quarterback Damon Huard shortly after being spurned by Kurt Warner.

Actually with Mike Singletary's vision for the offense I think Huard could be a good 2 season stop gap until a legit QB is developed.

Well, I hope they start him. And I hope they do well with him.
If they decide to protect him, he has shown the ability to play at a very high level.
I think this is a good move by The Niners. Not a block-buster, But a good move.
I agree, Hes a solid guy when hes protected. Wish his the best.

About Huard, I can't believe it. Huard isn't immortal so I don't know why the 49ers want him.
