I have to admit, I was very surprised when I heard that the Chiefs were getting Mike Vrabel from the Patriots. Great article Coach. I agree with everything you've said. Any time you can improve two positions with one trade you"ve done well.
The other area were this could have been accomplished is by picking up a center, then moving Niswanger to RG and improving our OL greatly. It's been frustrating watching the top centers move to other teams. By not picking up a center we are almost forced into taking an OT with #3. I'm not against that, but would rather have drafted Curry.

I agree; Hermie did get rid of too many veterans. It seemed that TG was the only grown man that knew what he was doing this last season.

Great article, except that we need Crabtree, and pick up some more veta for o-line and DE.

PBA, couldn't agree more with your thoughts. I think what the Chiefs have needed all along is a good balance of Vets (who know how to win and have gas in the tank) and promising Rook's who can give you 4 to 6 good years.
