QUARTERBACKS
QB TYLER THIGPEN
• Played in 14 games with 11 starts.
• Connected on 230 of 420 throws for 2,608 yards with 18 TDs and 12 INTs for a 76.0 rating. Had 62 carries for 386 yards (6.2 avg.) and three TDs. Also caught a 37-yard touchdown pass.
• Ranked seventh in the AFC with 18 TD passes.
• His 4.3 TD percentage was third in the AFC and ninth in the NFL.
• His 386 rushing yards were the most by a QB in the NFL in 2008 and were the highest single-season total in Chiefs history.

• Attempted 161 consecutive passes without an INT (9/21 - 11/6), the third-longest streak in KC history.

• Served as the backup QB in nine games and was listed as the third QB in one contest.
• Was signed on October 22nd.
• Hit seven of eight passes for 76 yards with a three-yard TD vs. Buffalo (11/23).
• Five-year NFL totals: 12 games (four starts), 108 completions, 188 attempts, 57.45%, 1,328 yards, 13 TDs, five INTs and a 91.4 rating to go with 25 carries for 111 yards (4.4 avg.) with two TDs.
QB BRODIE CROYLE
• Started two games and was inactive for four contests.
• Connected on 20 of 29 passes for 151 yards for an 81.3 rating.
• Completed 11 of 19 throws for 88 yards before leaving the game with a right shoulder injury at New England (9/7).
• Was inactive vs. Oakland (9/14), at Atlanta (9/21), vs. Denver (9/28) and at Carolina (10/5) with a right shoulder injury.
• Hit nine of 10 throws for 63 yards and a 92.9 rating before leaving the contest with a left MCL injury vs. Tennessee (10/19).
• Was placed on Injured Reserve with that injury on October 22nd.

• Saw action in five games with three starts.

• Also threw a four-yard TD pass to become the sixth player in Chiefs history to own a rushing TD, a receiving TD and a passing TD.
• His 198 rushing yards vs. Denver (9/28) were the highest single-game total in the AFC in 2008.
• Finished ninth in the AFC with 874 rushing yards despite missing four games.
• Ranks second in Chiefs history with 5,638 rushing yards, needing 433 more yards to bypass RB Priest Holmes (6,070) for first.

• Also returned three kickoffs for 11 yards (3.7 avg.) and added two special teams tackles.
• Started his first NFL game at New England (9/7).
• Caught a two-point conversion vs. Oakland (9/14).
RB JACKIE BATTLE
• Played in nine games on special teams and in one contest on offense.
• Registered one catch for a two-yard loss and four special teams tackles.
• Was released on September 9th and added to the practice squad on September 10th.
• Promoted to the 53-man roster on November 1st.
• Was released on November 10th and added to the practice squad on November 12th.
• Added to the 53-man roster on November 19th.
• Two-year NFL log: 12 games, 14 carries for 47 yards (3.4 avg.) with one TD and two receptions for two yards. Has four special teams tackles.
RB KOLBY SMITH
• Played in seven games (three starts) and was inactive for one contest.
• Rushed 35 times for 100 yards (2.9 avg.) with a TD and caught 10 passes for 52 yards (5.2 avg.).
• Also had four special teams tackles.
• Was inactive with a back injury at New England (9/7).
• Carried the ball 10 times for 46 yards with a TD before leaving the game in the second quarter with a right knee injury vs. Tampa Bay (11/2).
