What do you guys think about it?

Tells me that we will possibly trade the #3 pick for later, additional picks and he may be the guy!

We've also hosted Connor Barwin though.. and he's probably going to be a late 1st/early 2nd rounder.

I've been hearing rumors the Rams are shopping thier #2 around, that would't leave us much of a chance to trade down. We'll know for sure in a couple of weeks. Paoli is preparing just in case, but IMO it doesn't look good.

Maualuga would make a good ILB, but i agree that our chances of trading down will be greatly diminished if the rams succeed in trading theirs. Either way if at 3, Curry is still on the board, I hope we take him. He is a godsend for this team!

I still want Curry, I think he will be our best defensive pick in years....better than DJ

It might actually help us if the team they trade with takes one of two top players at a position and another teams wants to move up and get the second one before tRaiders do. There are just to many different variables to know until it unfolds. And just maybe a team would rather trade with us for a little less than the Rams want. A lot depends on who Detroit takes.

if rams trade down it's good,Why?because I team who needs a quarterback will want the rams pick so that will leave those good defensive guys on the board

If a team wants a quarterback they won't trade with the Rams when they can get it cheaper. At the 3 spot there are maybe 1 or 2 viable defensive options left, and the chances of either going to the Lions or Rams are slim at the moment. Stafford looks like he is headed to Detroit, if a team really wants Sanchez they could trade up to Seattle or even Jacksonville for much cheaper. If a team jumps up ahead of us for the 2 spot its probably to nab Curry (though why would you trade away a draft for one LB). So, if the Rams trade down, it's bad for those who are high on Curry right now.

The rams need a new OT to badly to trade down in my opinion. Sure they can trade down but my guess is if they trade down whoever they get to take Pace's place won't be as good as who they get at #2 obviously. I'd be shocked if they traded down.

I have also heard rumor that the Lions have considered trading back to the 2nd or 3rd spot to save money but only if a deal can be worked out.

This close to the NFL Draft the rumor mill is in full vigor.
