oh geez....... while this would mean he'd be overrated in Madden which would be kind of cool, we'd be doomed for this season and possibly many more.

No I think it would be cool if we got the final Madden cover. The way I understand it, the way a guy at work was explaining it to me, it wont be named Madden anymore. Or it could be till EAs contract runs out.

From what I have read Maddens retirement will not affect the video game what so ever, as he plans on continuing to work with EA sports. The contract is up in 2 years i think, and then EA sports will have to buy the rights to be the sole producer of an NFL video game.

Has any KC player ever graced the cover of a Madden game? I thought that in the 90's Joe Montana was on it but I could be wrong?
Before 99 or so Madden was always on the cover. Plus Montana had his own game, Joe Montana's Sportstalk Football on Sega Genesis.
