The Chiefs have come to terms with their first-round draft pick, leaving just three first-round selections from the 2007 draft unsigned and holding out from training camps.
Former LSU receiver Dwayne Bowe (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=8277), who was the 23rd overall pick in the draft, agreed to terms with the Chiefs on Sunday, sources told ESPN.com's John Clayton. Bowe is expected in camp Monday.
Panthers rookie linebacker Jon Beason (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=8279), picked 25th, also signed on Sunday.
The remaining first-round holdouts are the Raiders' JaMarcus Russell (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=8255) (No. 1 overall), the Jets' Darrelle Revis (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=8268) (14th) and the Browns' Brady Quinn (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=8276) (22nd).22nd

I know it's about time. Now lets get in on the field and throw the ball up and have him go get it. We just need to figure out who will be throwing it, lol

I wonder what they had to pay him. Now we need LJ to get his butt to camp.

Well, good. Hopefully, he gets there and gets to work, in a big hurry. I was looking forward to seeing him on the field. He already shortened his first shot at stardome by missing his first few days of "Hard-Knocks".

Its about time! Hopefully he wont be too far behind. Missing that much time can really hurt a rookie. Damn Ethan Lock for taking so long!

Same here, but I don't expect it. All the reports I've seen says that he's overweight and outta shape.

Oh great. Maybe we should have taken Joe Staley in the 1st rd. At least if he showed up fat, it wouldn't be as big of a deal.

Chiefs sign first-round pick Bowe

RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin | Chiefs first-round draft pick Dwayne Bowe has reached a contract agreement with the team and is expected to arrive in River Falls this evening, Bowe’s representatives told The Star Sunday.
Bowe has agreed to a five-year deal. No other details were immediately available.
Bowe was the 23rd overall pick in last spring’s draft. Some speculated that his contract negotiations were slowed because high-profile quarterback Brady Quinn, who was drafted one spot ahead of him at No. 22, was asking for so much money from the Cleveland Browns. Quinn is still unsigned.
Bowe’s representatives, however, said Sunday that the situation involving Quinn was never a factor in Bowe’s negotiations.

Bowe's agents where trying to hold out till Quinn signed so they could squeeze more money out. I don't care what those agents say. They are all Jerry Maguire wannabes and just want the money.

YAY! Finally! If he drops balls or runs the wrong routes because he hasn't been training with the team, I'm gonna boo his *** out of Arrowhead. Talk about getting started on the wrong foot! He's going to have to be a freaking STUD for us now in order for me to stop seeing him as the CHUMP he is....
