I would tend to think they would have ditched/replaced him prior to the draft.

Probabaly didnt have enough time to hire new staff, most of the guys he wants where probabaly already tied to a team somewhere and wherent going to up and leave right before the draft~

I would tend to think they would have ditched/replaced him prior to the draft.

Would of been a tremendous amount of work to catch up considering how late Pioli was hired and then with the Coaching staff taking a while as well.

So he bit the bullet on this one and held over
