Just curious, I have a few questions for you.

Do you live in an apartment?
What is a decent rent for one, for a single person?
What island do you live on?

It has always been my dreams to move out there. It is my goal to live out there, and now my parents are thinking of going to Salt Lake City for my dads job. I think after I graduate here, I will just try and shot towards that way.

The average price for a 1/1 can range anywhere from $800-1500 pending on the location and whether or not it is under management or privately owned. You may be able to find cheaper options and most definitely can find more expensive ones.

Oahu. Its where I was born and raised (for a while at least) and is the only island with a sizeable city (outside of Maui).

I'd be on a cruise. Depending on weather it was breakfast lunch or dinner, I would be kicking back with a beer, marqaarita or a glass of wine.
