We are all OK, the tornado lifted and dissipated about a mile west of town.

Who took that footage?
I do not know, but he needs to learn how to identify a tornado. But in his defense, at the beginning it did look like a rain shaft.

They showed the exact same footage on the news last night and the weather guy thought he was crazy for being that close.

What would you say TS? F-2 or F-3? I am gonna say F - 2 cuz an F-3 would have been a bit bigger and more stuff damaged.
It was determined a EF2, It looked nastier, and bigger, because of the huge dust cloud around it, from the back side of the tornado. If it would have stayed on the ground longer and went thru town. I probably would be having a clean up party at my house, if I would still have a house. The storm chasers were all over this storm, there is all kinds of video on you tube.

I would be lovin it. I have asked TS when him and I are gonna go out sometime but the weather does need to cooperate. It has been here as of late and they are comin through Nebraska and Iowa the last few days because the weather changed from cool to very hot and muggy, a total extreme change in the weather and temperatures.

I have real low threshold of excitement. seeing them on TV and Youtube is as close as I ever wanna be to one.
