Even though Lawrence Taylor was the first LB to play the style of defense DT used, I still believe that DT played the position better than any other QB rushing LB to play the game. His QB record for 1 game still stands a record Taylor never even got close to. The man was so fast and strong, simply unbelievable.

He also had 6 sacks agains Oakland in 1998 which was a 3 way tie with 2 others.

I really believe that he could have broken the all time sack record had he had more time to be here.

Certainly deserving of the HOF.

They called him off in the 3rd quarter. Gunther said he coulda got 10 that night. It is on the History of the Chiefs DVD!! :bananen_smilies046: The all time King!! RIP DT!!:bananen_smilies046:

I tell ya....I don't know about you guys but if my LB or DE was busting up the other team like that....I'd let hi have his way with them until the fat lady sang!

LOL! I bet Gunther wishes he would have let him play on now!

Anyways...DT's motor was incredible...I remember the replays during the games when the camera would focus in on him...His first step was so lightning quick it was unreal!! Awesome, to say the least!
