I found a site I wanted to share with the Crowd.

KC Chiefs Games (http://www.mywavv.com/Scripts/TheGameRoom.htm)

You can watch complete Chiefs games here. Various ones are included from their championship in 1962 as the Texans to the present time. I'm watching the 1978 regular season game at Pittsburgh now. The Chiefs were 4-12 and the Steelers were 14-2 and won the Super Bowl that year. But the Chiefs only lost 27-24 in Pittsburgh. Not bad.

I look forward to watching our 56-10 rout of Atlanta in 2004 followed by our 45-35 win against the Colts the next week (over 1000 total yards between the 2 teams!)

Some other good classics there like various Joe Montana games, the 1975 MNF win at Dallas, and the 54-34 rout of the Rams in 2000 (the Rams were 6-0 at the time, ha!).

Someone made a thread about this site awhile back, but yeah, it's definitely a great site!

Oh I'm sorry about this. It's always embarrassing to start a new thread without realizing it's previously been brought up.

Yes it really is a wonderful site. I'm watching the Chiefs 56-10 game against the Falcons now. Just the beginning of the game with all the red in Arrowhead is so great. The announcers said how they sold out every game since 1991 (this was 2004) and how hard it is for visiting teams to hear when the KC crowd gets going.

They said, "They're loud and they're proud!"

GO CHIEFS!

Don't be sorry man, you could make a new thread every day about this site and it would not bother me. Then I would always know where to find the link!!:bananen_smilies046:

Yeah I won't like to see our Chiefs in those throwback uniforms 3 times this year. For over 30 years now I've always known them as they are now in their awesome colors and arrowhead logo.

This is also great to get to see these Chiefs games while we have to wait for the next season to start. Helps to feed our Chiefs football appetites in the meantime. :) Like I just saw Priest Holmes score a td and the Arrowhead crowd cheer and the people in the corners of the end zones run out on the field waving big Chiefs banners. Good stuff!

DAMN LENNY ROCKED!!!!!!

GOT THAT RIGHT DUDE!

Yeah I also am eager to view the game our first title in '62. And Super Bowl 4 again where we CRUSHED the favored Vikings!

I have today off from work but then have a busy period coming up. It's a shame to discover a treasury of Chiefs games like this and then not have the time to watch them for a while after today. It'd be like telling a kid a whole bakery or candy store belongs to him but he can only eat a couple of doughnuts or candies and then has to wait about a week!

Edit: They just said Priest is dominating them; he's gone around them, he's gone under them, and now he goes over them!

I just watched the 1989 game where the Chiefs beat the Cowgirls 36-28. What fun seeing Deron Cherry, Stephone Paige, Christian Okoye, Nick Lowery all at beautiful Arrowhead. And Derrick Thomas in his rookie season.

Also Marty's first year as coach for us. I thought it's an interesting parallel that 20 years ago in '87 and '88 we only won 4 games each year under Gansz, and then Marty took over and brought us 9 winning seasons in a row. Hopefully Haley taking over for Edwards has the same results (except this time we win the SB and not only have winning records, of course!).

And also of note is we started 1-4 in '89 but still had a winning record. So if we likewise start off a little slow this fall, be encouraged that better days are still ahead.

Thank you guys.

This Chiefs archived game site is additionally special for an out of towner Chiefs fan like me since the majority of the games weren't originally on air in my local area at the times.

It's also neat hearing some of the commentators at the time for various things. Like a few days ago when I watched that classic 2004 45-35 win over the Colts (great revenge from 2003 playoffs!) the refs were calling a lot of defensive penalties on the Chiefs for tiny infractions. And the CBS commentators said the Patriots do far more physical contacts all the time and never get flagged for them.

And then of course this Chiefs Crowd site itself is indeed so great to be able to talk Chiefs football with other fans. As well as being able to go to the Chiefs official web site and the Kansas City Star online. Yes sir, the internet has enriched a whole new world for Chiefs fans who don't live near KC or have moved a significant distance from KC. :)

What's cool is to zoom in to make the games take up the full screen (like you can do with youtube videos). Basically makes your monitor just like a tv.

Right now I'm watching (don't read this, rbedgood!) the 2006 game where the Chiefs beat the 49ers 41-0. I'm tending to select first all of the games where the Chiefs won by blowouts, woohoo!

Hey thanks dude, if you meant me heh. :)

I watched 2 more complete games.

(1) 1985 Chiefs beat the Chargers 38-34. Were up 35-3 at one point, yes! And it was the Stephone Paige 309 yards receiving game that set a record at the time. I think only Flipper Anderson has beaten it since.

(2) 2001 Chiefs rout the Redskins 45-13 at Washington. Priest Holmes had many big runs and Trent Green threw for a ton of yards, as usual. But the rout was not only due to effective Chiefs play, but also to lousy 'Skins play. Mistackles galore. Gaping holes for Priest galore. Passes underthrown all day by their qb (Banks). And our receivers often left wide open.

The crowd got to play their "Hail to the Redskins" song just once. The rest of the time would have had to play "Hail to the Chiefs!"

Watching the Chiefs whipping the Eagles in 1992 at Arrowhead! This is one I was able to watch on tv at the time.

Dave Krieg threw a bomb to J J Birden on the opening drive! And Neil Smith just sacked Randall Cunnigham as the sea of red is on their feet and erupting!

Latest I watched was a 1980 game where we nipped the Houston Oilers 21-20. Bum Philips heh. And Earl Campbell what a rb had 187 yards rushing. But our Chiefs prevailed. Steve Fuller, certainly not one of our better QB's, had a really nice 38 yard run for a game winning td!

Too bad the Oilers are defunct (now the Titans, of course). Hate when that happens to teams.

I always loved their catchy song. It's on youtube:

I just enjoyed the 2004 Chiefs/Ravens game. I invite everyone to grab a beer and enjoy this one.

KC Chiefs Games (http://www.mywavv.com/Scripts/ChiefsvsRavens2004.htm)

Jason Dunn was just awesome in this game. Outplaying TG. Chris Horn was good too. And Trent had an absolutaly amzing play.. youll know it when you see it.

But the best was hearing Ray Lewis(he was miced up) b!tch and moan going on like this is impossible in the 3rd quarter.

And the allpro Oline just Smashing their top ranked D.

Oh.... did i mention Priest Holmes?

Believe it or not. no. Waters, Welbourn and Richardson were the ones occupy him most of the time I think. But it all just depend where R Lewis lines up I guess.

BTW, Do you have that Chiefs/Bronco game. ( I think it was somewhere between 04 and 06) played at arrowhead where we stopped the Donks on 4th down to win the game. They went for it on 4th, the refs ruled it a 1st, we challenged and won.

The main changes are that you will now need to to have a user name and password to login to the "GameRoom". This will automatically put you on our email list so you will be notified of any new game uploads or changes.
Also the only address to the website now is:
