Chiefs lucky to have Vrabel

Today on NFL.com Tedy Bruschi re-stated his feelings about Vrabel.

"When Reiss, of Boston.com related to Bruschi…‘There has been some speculation that had the Patriots not traded Vrabel, they eventually would have cut him for salary cap reasons. Bruschi said he found that hard to believe."

Bruschi isn't wrong. The Pats traded Cassel and Vrabel for Patrick Chung. God bless 'um.

Cassel is also an above average QB too. No question, it was a cap decision.

Good stuff. I wonder what Vrabel is gonna tell DJ the first time he blows a coverage or fills the wrong gap. Thats what we need. He will make alot of people better.
