Former Tennessee Titans (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=ten) quarterback Steve McNair (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=733) has been killed, a source has confirmed to ESPN.com.
McNair, 36, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville, police spokesperson Don Aaron said. A female victim was also found dead. Aaron said the woman has not been identified, pending notification of next of kin.
The incident happened near 2nd South & Lea Ave in Nashville.
McNair played 13 seasons in the NFL, 11 were with the Titans. He played his final two years with the Baltimore Ravens (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=bal), retiring after the 2007 season.
"We are saddened and shocked to hear the news of Steve McNair's passing today," Titans owner K.S. "Bud" Adams Jr. said in a statement. "He was one of the finest players to play for our organization and one of the most beloved players by our fans. He played with unquestioned heart and leadership and led us to places that we had never reached, including our only Super Bowl. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they deal with his untimely passing."
McNair was picked third overall in the 1995 draft out of Alcorn State by the then Houston Oilers.

Yeah looks like it's being officially stated as such now. He had multiple gun shots and she only a single one. And her former bf was saying how Steve made is sound to her like they were going to always be together.

Agreed, find the witch that shot him, it is basically easy to say it was his mother to the 4 kids he has. Jealous b!tch wacked them both in cold blood! She should be hung in the middle of downtown Nashville for everyone to see!
(Does or should the US support that type of payment for a double murder?)
I say it was a murder/suicide. We shall see.

one would hope other players with whores on road and families at home would pay attention here. but I doubt it

Why did you jump to such assumptions without even knowing any facts. He could have had numerous girl friends who did it. Maybe Kaemi's ex boyfiriend did it.

His poor wife just found out that her husband was cheating on him and died in the same day.

Fact of the matter, the gun was purchased by his girlfriend and found under her body. She bought it illegally and did it the same day after McNair bailed her our of jail for a DUI. I had heard, and this could be a rumor, but a motive for a homicide/murder was due to the fact that he was with her when she got the DUI, and took a taxi cab home, and didn't get her until the next day.

It is still being investigated, but I don't see how the shooter would have had time to shoot the victim and quickly place the gun under the victim as she fell to the ground. (it could be done, but it would have to take practice) Specially since the shot was point blank to her temples. A suspect certainly couldn't lift the victim without leaving some sort of evidence on her skin or clothes leading them to believe it to be a double homicide.

I am sorry for what I am about to say but it seems that a man in his position should have known better than to have one of his b!tches with him in his home town. I really liked Steve infact I always thought KC should have looked on trying to aquire him. I have his Rookie cards, about 4 of them with the Oilers gear on and his College uniform but DAMN man, he should have known better.

Who cares where he has one of his Beeees. Fact of the matter he was a married man with 4 children. He shouldn't have a Beee anywhere.

I did so cuz even though I thought he was a good QB, he doesn't really matter to me all that much so I have little sympothy for him or his family. His children don't deserve to have this happen but life is hard and I am one that had it hard IMO. I had an adopted family that is all dead now so in reality, my harshness is something that is related to that. If you want to call me a bunch of names , feel free to PM me but leave the scolding for the Mods to do, you have your opinion and I have mine. The dude got shot cuz he was doing wrong, PERIOD! It isn't my fault that he has left his family in shambles because he couldn't keep his tube in his pants! I understand your hurt over this as it is very evident in your post, I am not responsible for what he did, as for the statement I made , I blamed the wrong b!tch, his damn Girl friend prolly did it then shot herself. I dunno all the facts but after what I watched last night on NFL Network, I think that is what happened and it was prolly cuz he wouldn't leave his wife for her. Jealousy is big and can cause a lot of bad things to happen.

Yea, he shouldn't have done what he did but, he wasn't to worried about it as he was seen quite often in public with the skank. I am also one of those God fearing beings that believes if you Marry a woman, even if you don't wish to be with that woman you don't go out and be with others as it is a SIN. God will definately bring that up when he is going over his life with him and when he passes his Judgement , God will make him feel all of the pain it caused others , that is my belief and I don't expect anyone else to believe what I do. If you have an opinion about mine, keep in mind that it is not for anyone of mortality to judge another but only God himself that is reserved the right for such actions. We all have our opinion and there is mine.

So as a god fearing person you believe that a man who cheated should be shot and killed as well as the woman he was cheating with? Sounds like quite the religion.

I don't believe anyone should be shot, that would be killing and it is against the 10 commandments. You seem to be confused or maybe you just like to argue. Where did I say he should have been shot? I said God will deal with him and his killer. Either way , I am done with this thread as it is just a b!tch session.
You can't expect everyone here to be a Christian like you. Saying that, I actually am a Christian, but I was brought up to be humble and not spring my beliefs on anyone. People can believe in whatever they want to believe in.

BTW, this is a football forum and a topic slightly related to football, and has nothing to do with religion.

Just one more thing out of this topic, you keep saying "God-fearing man". I wonder why that is. We aren't meant to fear god, we're simply meant to believe in him humbly.

And wow, the comment about my sig was pretty much not needed. That just shows that you're trying to get under my skin.

I won't call you names, and I don't care about McNair. I just feel bad for his family. This is clearly news to his wife and kids and I didn't think she deserved the electric chair before thre was even evidence to suspect her. I didn't say you were wrong, but I think you can see now why was defensive. There was evidence pointing else where. I was just trying to be logical.

I shoot handguns in competition, and for his wife to shoot the girlfriend in the temple and lay the gun under her as she was falling would have to take some practice even for a person who shoots every week. I was pretty sure you had the wrong B..
