How Many yards do you think Priest Holmes will rush for this season? And do you think he will be the number 1 back in the NFL?

It takes Priest staying healthy, but I think he is good for about 1500 yards rushing and another about 500 receiving. I foresee a lot of teams stacking 8 men in the box and forcing the Chiefs to pass since they are light at wide receiver.

If Priest plays every game like he did against the broncos he will have 1500 yards by the end of the season.

You are still right. I came here right after the '05 season. So that would be about a year and a half.

Been here since September '07 myself.

Decided to join the year the Chiefs win the Super Bowl.

And they will win it in London too.

Even though it is 6 or 7 hours ahead of Arrowhead time, it won't affect the players that go there will it?

In another country. With distractions. In a different time zone (big diffrerence). While they have to do press conferences instead of practicing or going over drills, tapes, etc...

That game will be over analyzed for a decade!

Why don't we have a Sportsbook thread and see what the odds are on the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl this year?

Putting the cart before the horse here I think.

I think Priest will make it back on the field, but doubt he'll see more than 5-10 carries per game, and would be hard pressed to finish #1 in the league with limited use.

Priest on The NFL Network "With training you can accomplish any goal in life I believe that, so thats why I am here today, thats why within the last 8 1/2 to 10 weeks I have been training very hard very consistantly. Dedicated to coming here early in the morning at 7am and doing a second workout at 11 O'Clock am.

Herm on Priest Also on the NFL Network

Herm said "I saw a guy out there that has worked his tail off for the last 3 months, to do what he did today. Basically, I mean he's worked three months to be able to put a uniform on and practice." "That alone to me says something about the person"

On a side note Michael Bennett began the process of quickly getting up to speed with the Tampa Offense, said it is like him learning to speak Chinese in 24 hours, it is not going to happen.

I wish Bennett well, But not against us (when we play them)

For all those out there that care, I have been sticking up for LJ since the beginning of the year, Now it is time for me start sticking up for Priest, I know there are a lot of you that have been calling for Priest, but I don't want to see ANYONE bashing Priest if he doesn't have a good game on Sunday or don't even want to see anyone bashing Herm if Priest doesn't play. It was seemingly difficult for LJ to come out and play with little time in the preseason, and he had practiced for a while.

Today (Wednesday) was Priest's first day of practice in 2 years, He is going to be a little rusty and might take a while to get up to speed.

Lets just pray for the backfield of old again, LJ and Priest. Gotta Love that.

I have no opinion or idea what anyone has done wrong...if i smell smoke I call the fire department...if I see the word nipple and a chick isn't being referenced, i call the MANCARD expert...

The experts make the decision on the course of action.

31 I hope that you are wrong but I have a feeling you aren't. As much as I would like to see Priest on the field a lot he probably isn't up to full speed yet to take a lot of snaps.

I don't doubt that Priest is ready. I doubt that Herm is ready.
