The Kansas City Chiefs have signed veteran Amani Toomer to a one-year deal, adding experience to a young receiving corps. Toomer, wearing a No. 13 jersey, joined the Chiefs for practice Tuesday afternoon, a day after working out for the coaches. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Toomer spent his first 13 season with the New York Giants, catching 668 passes for 9,497 yards and 54 touchdowns.
