I predict.......The Chiefs will cut Devard Darling.

I predict Jamaal Charles has at least 1/3 of the carries LJ does, and averages at least 5.5 YPC.

We must have submitted our predictions at the same time. We're both pretty close.

I predict the defense will have 30 sacks. I also predict that McIntosh will lose the starting job at RT.

Okay, I've got one that will probably catch a lot of grief, and I really have no basis whatsoever to predict this (other than my gut), but....

I predict that Glenn Dorsey will thrive in 2010, despite playing a new position.

I know, I know, stupid prediction. But I think it'll have less to do with the new position and more to do with proper coaching. I think he's got a lot more talent than showed last year. Just throwing it out there.

My prediction is that LJ will have 1,500 Yards with 15 TD's! WORD!

IlovetheChiefs
08-04-2009, 07:22 PM
I'll say 1002 yds with 12 tds. But I hope Vanilla is closer! I think the predictions for Matt Cassel earlier are about right (3500 yards, 23 tds, 16 int). It's hard to say about the defense and sacks. Except to say we will certainly have more than 10 for the season! I'll go with 24, hoping for a lot more. Won-loss record? I say 10-6!

LOL, 1002 yards is a random number to pick :bananen_smilies046:
I hope I'm right too, i think LJ deserves some payout for all the hard work and attitude adjustment hes made.

Heh heh, yeah I'm guessing he'll be borderline 1000 yards and barely go over the mark on one of his last carries of the regular season. (Notice I say REGULAR season, for we will have a post season! YES YES YES!!!)

LJ has a huge year.
Chiefs run defense finishes dead last.
Chiefs pass defense finishes in the top 10.
30+ sacks
Succop leads the team in scoring.

Well that sounds comforting. :(

The good news is that if at least those simple things happen, this team will win 6+ games.

DT14PRIEST

- Chiefs Defense finishes Lower Half (between 21-28)
- Chiefs Offense finishes middle of the pack (between 11-15)
- Chiefs Win the West by 1 game
- Chiefs Lose in the first round of the playoffs
- 30 sacks sounds reasonable

Edit: Overall Record (between 9-11 wins)! Say what!?

I also predict we can go 6-0 against division rivals. Come on now. We kept the Faiders in check for the most part last year. We almost had the Donks at their house. And well, San Deigo we lost only by 7 points with 2 mins to spare.

As long as we can improve on D I think those games can be a LOCK!

Except for the 2006 Colts, has a a team ever finished top-10 in pass defense and finsihed in the bottom of run defense? It seems unlikely for the Chiefs. Especially since you would probably need a pretty high power passing offense to make that happen. And if that happens, Succop won't be our leading scorer.

It's slightly possible that not all of my predictions will come true.
