We need a backup (starting?) NT in the worst way.

From what I've read, he punched Quinn in the face last season and was released after an argument with the DL coach. He has an awful attitude and is reportedly out of shape. Maybe he does have more natural skill, but the Browns obviously don't see him as a huge loss, so I wouldn't put my money on him to do better than Tyler or Edwards would.

On the surface it looks good, depth at NT would be a good thing and he is coming from a 3-4. But the problem is we never know the truth beyond the surface. Maybe though.

he's coming from a Mangini project in Cleveland. The guys is a beast in the middle on game day; a true stand out at NT if we could grab him. I'd sign him. If the Chiefs want a relatively young and proven big man in the middle you then there are only a handful of other guys better then Shaun Smith to do that right now.
