1 Better QB play. Matt Cassel, Brodie Croyle and Tyler Thigpen played unevenly at camp. That’s understandable because so much is new, but it’s time for some consistency from them. Cassel needs to reduce turnovers. 2 Continued defensive pressure. The Chiefs were encouraged when they got six sacks in last week’s intrasquad scrimmage, but tonight’s game is a much better barometer. They will be very basic, so they’ll need to get pressure with personnel rather than scheme.
