That'd be great if he becomes another excellent career kicker for us like Jan Stenerud and Nick Lowery.

A kicker and a punter now. :) We've always had Colquit.

But i agree, if he becomes a Stenerud I'll take it.:D

A game ball to Mr. Irrelevant for that kick. We haven't had a kicker that could split the uprights from 45+ in torrential rain in quite some time. That really made me feel good.

One of my all time favorite Chiefs players was Nick-the kick-Lowery. He kicked many a game winner.:yahoo:

Time will tell, but maybe we have a kick the ball thru the uprights player.

*note.

I personally wouldn't want to rely on a kicker to win the game, thats not they way it should be done.

I disagree with this entirely. Just like the worm used to say "You play to win the game!". A wins a win and I'll take a win anyway I can take a win.

certainly a better start than Medlock!

speaking of Medlock, he's been tearing up the CFL this year, he's so far 18/19 and his only miss was a 58 yarder which he hit the upright on the last play of the game, he'll be back in the NFL in two years

Yep. He can kick 50 yards in warm rainy weather. I just hope he can make the 40 yarders in the freezing cold...:D

You guys need to quit succingup to Succop. Just kidding. It was really nice to see kickoffs reach the end zone.

Why do I get the feeling that when this guy misses one everyone will be back here asking why we didn't have more than one kicker in camp?

Every kicker misses once and a while.
