True, but i was talking about tuition, books and fees; unless you had a grant/scholarships for that.

I meant it is wrong that he paid for it all out of pocket and have been cheated out of one days worth of tuition and fees.

You don't pay by the class. You pay for an education. I understand the frustration in having a class cancelled after showing up but everyone misses some time along the way.

True, but when I was in college I was charged a dollar amount by the credit hour. Maybe it's changed since prehistoric times. :D

In general paying for school sucks
