i think the majority of people who buy that game are not big time gamers so it doesn't hurt them to buy the game...unlike someone (say me) who loves all kind of games and goes out and buys alot of games and that game really doesn't need to be bought

I have Madden 09 for 360 but for 10 I went PS3 .. I believe my nick is Chiefs2010 I will try to add you but with the work schedule I really don't get much of a chance to play. Let me know if you would like me to join the league.

FWIW the best system (IMO) for Madden is the Wii you actually make the movement to throw the ball rather then pushing buttons, but my Wii is upstairs with the kids and I have the 360 and PS3.. I went PS3 so I didn't have to pay for roster updates, and because I have more PS3 controllers then 360 controllers.

PS3 is now $299. Price is no longer an issue. It's a level playing field now. Well, except for the fact you still have to pay for online play with the box.

i think what trouble Playstation has is it doesn't have the frat boy game (Halo, and i hate that game name), i do not know how good Killzone 2 is but heard really good things....if playstation can make a game that gamers just play and play and play and play and play.....then they can compete....they just need their own Halo(and that game sucks)

that sucks... i like more realistic games with FPS....like Call of Duty 4...holy **** that game was ****ing awesome...always played on Hardcore because if a bullet hits you i'm sure your dead not like 30 bullets....CAN'T WAIT FOR MODERN WARFARE 2

Give it a rent though. You never know, it might be enjoyable for you. For me, I just couldn't get past the horrible aiming mechanics. My son absolutely loved it though. He is tons better than me at FPS too.

Aiming is hard enough on a console, making it tougher was a bad call. JMHO

don't forget the Wii and the PC

and the PC has so many games coming out

Starcraft 2, diablo 3, Star wars the old republic (MMORPG), expansion to WoW(world of warcraft), L4D 2 (tho that comes out on xbox too can't wait)

Agreed for the most part. My only real hangup with the 360 is the fact they expect every individual family member to pay for a Gold membership instead of just having the Gold apply to everyone on that single console. Up to five.

I would have no problem paying for Gold if it applied to my entire family.
