WR's Boldin, Marshall on the Move? Three Team Deal Possibly in the Works | Bleacher Report (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/246434-wrs-boldin-marshall-on-the-move-three-team-deal-possibly-in-works)

don't think it's really a credible source though.

Bowe and Boldin both a Chief? How sweet the sound

Why would the Card's trade Boldin, because they don't want to pay him only to pickup a WR that wants to get paid himself and is a bigger team distraction? With that said I too pray this happens.

While it sounds nice...its not happening.

The first deal listed the guy reporting is true...the Chiefs give up nothing. What team would give up an all star WR for nothing...

The second deal the Chiefs are giving up too much.

The second deal the Chiefs are giving up too much.
The Cowboys had to give up a 1st, 3rd, and 6th round picks to get Roy Williams. In this trade scenario we'd be giving up a 1st and 5th round draft pick and Thigpen who equals a 3rd round draft pick (at least that's what we want for him). Anquan Boldin > Roy Williams. I think Anquan would be well worth this trade. With this trade we'd have the pieces to make a very great offense. All we'd need is an O-line which is something that can be addressed next year with our 2nd round picks.

I view this deal as somewhat unlikely. This is what is most likely probable regarding this article.

The first deal where the Chiefs give up nothing wouldn't be bad but I don't see it happening.

With Cassel hurt I dont see giving away Thiggy, a 1st and a 5th for Boldin (Who was very vocal with Haley often including during the playoffs). Even if Cassel was perfectly healthy I still dont think Thiggy a first and a fifth for Boldin is worth it. I also like watching the Donkeys have a meltdown like they are currently in. I dont want to see them get a 1st and a QB (which if a report I read about Orton being out for up to 8 weeks because of his finger injury is true they could definately use) and fix the issues they are having with Marshall. Plus I dont see the Cardinals going for it either even though I dont think that Lienart is ever going to be an NFL caliber QB. Just my 2 cents.

I do not see the chiefs getting any OL in this deal so its a dumb deal

This don't make sense. Why not cards and donks just trade Boldin for Marshall straight up and leave KC out of it?

I would love to have Boldn. him and Bowe wouldbe a killer tandam. Probabaly leave Leile or Engram open alot in the slot.
Two problems with this,,,,,, one is with our o-line there wont be enough time to throw the ball,( This has to get fixed first). And two,,,, a 1st,5th and Thiggy for Boldn? way to much. Mybe a 2nd,5th and Richardson.
Were getting raped without even a reach-er-round.

I say trade LJ for Boldin and give then a #2 pick

I don't understand why some of you think this would be giving up too much for Boldin. Roy Williams got more and he's much less proven. Boldin just made it to the Pro Bowl last season and is a great player. When drafting a player even in the first round it's a gamble, with Boldin there's no gamble. He's a sure thing. I think he's well worth a 1st and 5th round pick and a QB that doesn't fit our system.

Pioli aint done yet. I bet we end up with at least one more offensive lineman and a starting reciever before kickoff in Baltimore...

considering we will probably be picking in the top 5, i say if we do trade away our 1st let it be for a top dog o-lineman.
2nd and a 5th plus thiggy for boldin.

I would love this deal. A 1st and a 5th for boldin would be a good deal. If next year is realy an uncaped year the draft would not be as importan that year. Perfect time to do it. To bad it wont happen. But one can dream. GO CHIEFS

they have Hightower and drafted Beanie Wells. I doubt they want another RB

Anyone who doesn't think Boldin is worth a 1st round pick is crazy. Boldin is a proven, tough player, who's made it to the Pro Bowl on more than one occasion. Picking him up would give Cassel another target to throw to (which he definitely needs) and would also prevent teams from focusing soley on Bowe and double teaming him constantly (which you know is going to happen.) Adding Boldin to our team would add another piece to our team and would be the start to building a high powered offense.

I understand that we have O-line problems, but we have 2 2nd round picks to help out our O-line problems and we have cash to spend next year in FA. This trade would be great for our franchise. It's not every day that you can pickup a player of Boldin's caliber. I think this would be agreat move for our franchise.

I like that deal. We win, Cardinals and most of all Broncos lose.

If this deal were/is true and the Donkey's weren't ****in' idiots in the draft this year by trading a 1st round draft choice to select a player in the 2nd round that they didn't even really need, they'd of had 3 first round picks in 2010. The Donkey's are really self imploding lately with all the dumb mistakes they've been making.

Boldin is a luxury pick. I think Pioli/Haley have bigger fish to fry right now. Like figuring out who is going to protect the passer.

It's kind of like spending time thinking about hitting the lottery. It's fun to dream about how you'd spend all of the money and the fun you'd have, but in reality you need to get your arse back to work so you can pay your cable bill next month.

I wish we could do a deal like this.

KC Receives:
Brandon Marshall

MIN Receives:
KC 3rd rounder

DEN Receives:
Tarvaris Jackson
KC 2nd rounder

I'd give up a 2nd and a 3rd for Marshall for sure. Minnesota is shopping Jackson around.
