No winner among Colt & Chase for Redskins' 3rd QB - NFL - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Ama7X1U0EUfBQX3sj1zSGPlDubYF?slug=ap-redskinscuts&prov=ap&type=lgns)

I think Chase played well from what I saw. Appearntly they thought it best to move on.

I am rooting for him.

I'd rather have Brian Brohm or John David Booty. Expect the Chiefs to look at JDB... they LOVE USC guys.

I second Brian Brohm. I'm surprised the Packers cut him after just 1 year. He was a 2nd round pick that could have gone in the 1st.

Both those kids are solid players. I'd like Brohm more than JDB as well. ESPECIALLY more than either of the Redskins cuts.

Chase performed great in College and decently in the preseason, but he really doesn't have the size that you look for in a quarterback. If were going to pickup a QB I think it should be Brohm, although I don't really think we need another QB at this point unless of course we trade Thiggy and send Gutierrez to the practice squad.

And he has build. Chase is not under sized.

He's not 6'0. his combine profile has him at 6'0 even, but thats generous.

Speaking of available QB's Joey Harrington is now available. Sure he was a draft bust, but he does have starting experience.

It could be Great that Garcia became a Chief .. he has show that even being a Back up he can work some magic even when the teams aren't that good.

Whoever mentioned Harrington made my day. I wanted to slap you and laugh at the same time lol. Is it me or is there a bevy of young qbs who didnt get a chance to really play that are now on the market.
You don't have any love for Joey Blue skies either?
