So the first day of Chiefs football is almost upon us. What are everyones plans/traditions for opening week? I am having a big BBQ with a few racks of ribs and some brats for the afternoon and we are deep frying a turducken for dinner. Plenty of cold beers, lots of food and Chiefs football...does it get any better?

We're having friends over...making Hot Wings, Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers on the grill...along with other goodies that friends bring...(everyone is bringing their favorite grilling foods....and of course lots of beer and even some mixed drinks!!!

I can't wait!!

I will likely go to a local bar (NFL Season Ticket) and watch while eating wings ($5 for 12) and drinking a beer or two and diet coke.

CapitalT and Myself will start the morning with a nice breakfast, most likely it will be breakfast burritos, then throughout the game we will have plenty of Stone IPA in the house.

I'm doing all right. Been around. Mostly lurking, occasional post. 49ers are playing the Cardinals here in Arizona. I got the ticket from a friend who can't go (has season tickets) and I told him to fully expect his neighbors to give him a bad time at the next home game for selling to a 49er nut. His response was, "You're a pretty normal guy, they'll like you." HAHA

I'm out to prove him wrong!!! :D

I am gonna spend the night before (party) at a friends house - waking to breakfast then fondue for the game with steaks.... should be great!
