There's an article about this on Arrowhead Pride too. He was drafted in Haley's last year with the Bears.

Is he better than any of the receivers we have currently? (Asking, not being jerky). I'd be interested in any player that could come in and contribute.

I really don't know anything about him whatsoever, and was surprised to see that he had 53 and 54 catches the past 2 seasons. So apparently he's not bad.

Copper and Darling don't even have 53 catches for their careers.

I know we put Darling on IR, but did we cut Copper? Or is he still here?

Copper made the roster. Bowe, Engram, Bradley, Copper, Lawrence. Wade's 54 catches last year is more than any of our receivers have ever had except for Bowe and Engram.

jusy read a little about him, excellent and consistent hands.. he took a pay cut last year and they cut him this year.. so much for loyalty?

I almost fell over when Lawrence made the roaster!! He dropped more balls than he caught during camp and he's not a return man either.

Reading about him he sounds a lot like a young Bobby Engram. Small guy who isn't very fast or explosive, but runs good routes and has good hands, making catches in traffic and good at moving the chains.

And they're both named Bobby.

I would take him over Copper/Darling/Lawrence.

Hmmm... I had no idea he was cut. As posted already, he seems to be a steady, durable receiver who isn't afraid to go inside to make the catch. He seems to be a team guy as well from what I remember of him.

Yep, if your playing WR, you better be prepared to be jacked up by either CB, S, or LB as soon as you catch the ball.
