The Kansas City Chiefs won't be bringing back defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast or two other assistant coaches next season. The Chiefs made the announcement Thursday. Tight ends coach Bob Bicknell and wide receivers coach Dedric Ward also won't be retained. Pendergast was hired as defensive coordinator last year only because Romeo Crennel wasn't available.
