Ale smith theory

Last few days a lot of talk as started about the Break down in contract talks with smith. Also the potential of the chiefs drafting a QB as early as the first. Could this be just a smoke and mirror tactic by both Smith and Dorsey to make our #23 pick look more desirable to teams interested in a QB. And in turn create a trade down opportunity?

You know what would be cool? If we can extend Alex Smith to a 2 year deal that is reasonable and draft a qb in the first. Now that would be something to be excited about.
