The 2012 season has not gone down exactly as everyone expected over in the NFC South. To be fair, the Atlanta Falcons were a popular pick to be the cream of the NFC South crop, but outside of that it has been a bit shocking. The rapid descent of the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints was unexpected for this NFL football fan. Being a Panthers fan has been tough in 2012 thus far. Still, I do believe that the NFC South is the cream of the NFC crop overall and that it will show by the end of the season.
