He can't block or catch.
"Good Morning Mr. Wilson!!!!!!!!!!!!"
...err..uhh...I mean...
"Good bye Mr. Wilson!!!!!!!!!! Don't let the door hit you on the way out!!!"
-Dennis the Menace
We just got rid of the worst player in the NFL, woohoo!
He did both pretty well for a TE playing FB. I think the reason so many Chiefs fans got down on this guy is because of all the no gainer pass receptions he made in '07.
Although that is really not on him so much, as it is on a generally poor offense. He can't help that the ball is being thrown to him, while covered, and three yards behind the line of scrimmage.
Not that I think he is great, but he may do pretty well with another team.
Bu-bye!
I don't know if I'd go that far, but I wasn't impressed.
He was hampered by the offense, that much is obvious.
If you are just trying to give me fodder to yell about Herm, then what the hell...
Herm has this fantasy of taking a guy who has been learning one part of the game for years and trying to force them to make chicken salad out of chicken sh!t.
He then gets to throw them under the bus for not being able to save the other 10 guys around him.
I am not sticking up for Wilson (I hope he does well too in Philly, I want everyone to succeed if they try hard), but Herm did cause him to look pretty crappy in the stat department.
I will explain it like this.
When Herm forced him to play fullback he seemed to avoid the pass rush and would immediately turn around to catch a throw thrown under duress (which he usually dropped, granted the passes were bad, but that was his fault too) because he had just let a guy go right past him unabated to the QB.
That to me is not being able to block or catch.

Yes.
Good luck.

"Total ******* Airlines" (David Spade)
Catchphrase lodged in America' brain: "BUH-bye!"
This one would have been much higher, if not for the fact that only two "Total ******* Airlines" sketches were made.
But this concept was so annoying, so manipulatively designed and so Spade-y, that it made the list.
http://www.chiefscrowd.com/forums/im...008/03/101.jpg
The year was 1994, and America was growing tired of adding "NOT!" to the end of sarcastic utterances.
"Total ******* Airlines" sought to change this with Spade' spiteful stewardess character dismissing passengers with acidic remarks capped off with a "BUH-bye."
These sketches were difficult to watch, not only for its repetitiveness, but also because it was awfully hard to hear Spade over the noise of factories churning out "BUH-bye!" T-shirts and bumper stickers, which we can only assume were burned when these sketches didn't take off.
There was no "BUH-bye" movie, and no "BUH-bye" amusement park. And, while the terminally uncool are still uttering lines from Wayne' World, it' nearly impossible to catch anyone still dismissing a hated friend or stranger with "BUH-bye."
That' right, Spade actually came up with something so annoying, even the annoying people of the world had to step back and say, "No, that' taking it too far. Don't go there! SCHWING!"

Nice research.
