Signing Lilja is huge IMO! Experienced guy who has been on a winning squad for his entire career. Has been sturdy and injury free to this point. Our O line has been dramatically improved in the last couple weeks. I am really happy with this signing.

Well he did spend all of 08 on the PUP list..

I think he a back up for us during the 03 season if I remember correctly.

Hey, whether Lilja is our starting guy, or whether he's just an experienced backup, it was a great signing. He's a smart, tough player who knows the blocking schemes we'll be running. This is a signing with no downside.

Lijla was an UDFA in 2004 and on the practice squad when the Colts nabbed him.

Agreed. I don't think anybody here was denouncing the signing of Lilja, just letting it known that he has had an injury history.
