Kansas City, MO - infoZine - On Jan. 29, the Greater Kansas City Chapter, Association of the United States Army, will host a breakfast event with special guest Sgt. Maj. of the Army, Kenneth O. Preston.
Preston was sworn in as the 13th Sergeant Major of the Army on Jan. 15, 2004. He previously served as command sergeant major for combined Joint Task Force 7 serving in Baghdad, Iraq. The Sergeant Major of the Army serves as the Army Chief of Staff's personal advisor on all enlisted-related matters, particularly in areas affecting Soldier training and quality of life.
The event will be held at Arrowhead Stadium, 1 Arrowhead Drive, Kansas City, Mo. Please park in lot I, south of the Kansas City Chiefs Club building.
Members of the media, local dignitaries, veterans and the general public are encouraged to attend this event. The cost of the breakfast is $15.00 or $6.00 for Soldiers.
