I agree as well. With Cassel's injury we'll need Thigpen during the first month of the regular season. I think we should rest Thigpen and let him heal up.

I would defently agree that with thigpen being hurt this is the way to go only hope that we dont see brodie being carted off the field with the shape the o line is in right now

Like I said, on a different link, Haley is just letting Thigs ribs take a break. I am scared from Brokie, he is probably going to shatter every bone in just one play. :D

No way Thiggy starts over Brodie in week one, if Cassell cant go. I guarantee it. Thigpen is awful in this system and Brodie has been great in camp and preseason.

That doesnt mean that he wont go in after Brodie breaks his neck though.

I think he'll be fine as long as no one bumps into his legs. He did take a solid hit in the Vikes game and popped up which is encouraging so I feel like he'll be okay in the game. Or at least as okay as the line can give him. I'm pretty sure that Haley will refrain from calling any plays that could potentially result in another Cassel injury (I.e. play action fakes with pulling guards is pretty much through in my books for this team)
