The problem in the Indy game was they didn't stay with an attacking style Defense and went to prevent and it prevented them from winning and the Chiefs were not getting enough pressure from their D-Line.
A 3-4 DE that can stop the run and rush the passer is more valuable than any DB. Look at Tampa Bay with what they invested in their Defensive Secondary and yet they still got torched for 3800 yards passing and 30 TD's because they could not get enough pressure on opposing QB's.
Any team can draft DB's until they're blue in the face, but if they can't stop the run or rush the passer, it won't matter who's playing DB.
Besides, good DB's can be had in later rounds. Brandon Flowers was a 2nd round pick. Brandon Carr was a 5th round pick. Richard Sherman and Cam Chancellor up in Seattle were both 5th round picks. I can go on and on. Even the Chiefs have a promising looking 5th rounder in Sanders Commings, if he can stay healthy, that will probably displace Lewis next year.
I believe Fisher will rise to the challenge. He's a hard worker and it isn't as though he's never played LT before and there is still Stephenson to fall back on as far the LT position, so I don't believe it will be an issue.
As for WR, the best thing that can happen is for Jenkins and Hemingway to step it up this next year. Hemingway is the big physical receiver, while Jenkins does possess 4.39 speed. Both showed some progress this year, but need to take it to the next level in 2014.
The reason that I want another pass-rusher is because of the series of QB's that the Chiefs are going to be facing in 2014. I do agree that Robinson and Lewis need to be replaced, but not necessarily with the top draft pick.
