Five-time Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu was inactive for Pittsburgh on Sunday because of an injury to his left knee. He was replaced by Tyrone Carter. Polamu was sidelined earlier this season for an injury to the left knee. Also inactive for the defending Super Bowl champs against Kansas City was defensive end Travis Kirschke, who has a calf injury.
