Wow, oh well obviously they're delusional time to prove them wrong
Would have been fair if we had beaten the scumskins by a field goal or a TD or just 10 points, but to not get a little recognition for the beating we put on them is just wrong.
While 7 looks like a low ranking, I think we are in the right place. It doesnt matter that we blew out a crappy team. Until we can show that all 3 phases of the game can consistently play well in the same game for 4 quarters, I dont think we have earned a higher ranking. I dont know for certain that we are better than the Seahawks, Saints, Patriots, Panthers, Broncos, or 49ers. You can argue that we would be competitive with the Broncos, the injured Patriots, and maybe the Panthers, but I cannot say for certain that we are definitely better, therefore I cannot argue for a higher ranking.
Keep in mind most of those rankings have us as the 3rd best AFC team. Some have us below the Bengals, which I would say would be an interesting matchup.
If we go out and destroy the Raiders and all 3 phases are clicking, then we have a decent argument to be above the Bengals. If we destroy the Colts too, then yes, we should be moving up in the ranks, but it would be hard to say where we should sit.
After putting up 45 and 56 points the last two weeks we move up, just barely, in the rankings

@CBSSports.com
Full Listings5/7(+2) They have rebounded from three losses to roll over two bad teams. They get a break this week since the game means nothing to the Colts. Kansas_City ESPN.com
Full Listings6/7(+1) Jamaal Charles' 172 yards after the catch were the most in a game since the start of 2006. Alex Smith averaged a ridiculous 24.4 yards per attempt targeting Charles. Chiefs Brian Billick
@FoxSpots.com
Full Listings6/8(+2) The Chiefs' 56 points were the second most in franchise history and Jamaal Charles was one touchdown shy of joining Gale Sayers, Dub Jones and Ernie Nevers as the only players to ever score six touchdowns in a single game.

@CBSSports.com2/1(-1) They looked lifeless against the Chargers and the defense isn't getting the job done. That's a worry going forward. Denver ESPN.com 2/2(-) A Denver hiccup Thursday was excused when everyone else did the same Sunday. The Broncos should have home-field advantage, especially finishing against the Raiders and Texans -- a combined 6-22. Broncos Brian Billick
@FoxSports.com3/2(-1) The Broncos had just 18 rushing yards against the Chargers on Thursday night after averaging 124.4 in the first 14 weeks.

@CBSSports.com15/15(-) They kept their playoff hopes alive with that impressive victory at Denver. With two more at home, they have a chance. San_Diego ESPN.com 15/17(+2) Thursday's win was the best game of the season for the Chargers' defense. Denver was held to season lows in points (20), total yards (295) and first downs (19). Chargers Brian Billick
@FoxSports.com13/17(+4) The Chargers held the ball for 38:49 on Thursday night. Philip Rivers is now 5-4 against Peyton Manning in his career.

@CBSSports.com30/28(-2) Is Dennis Allen now on the hot seat? That was putrid against the Chiefs. Oakland ESPN.com 30/28(-2) The Chiefs put up 56 points Sunday, the most Oakland has ever allowed in a game. It won't get easier, closing a bad year against the Chargers and Broncos. Raiders Brian Billick
@FoxSports.com28/30(+2) The Raiders had seven turnovers in the game yet still somehow managed to score 31 points.
And next weeks opponent ...

@CBSSports.com10/11(+1) They took a step forward by beating up the Texans, but they really have nothing to play for at Kansas City this week. So will they play hard? Indianapolis ESPN.com 10/11(+1) Ten Colts are averaging more yards per rush than Trent Richardson (2.93), including three with at least 40 rushes (Donald Brown, Andrew Luck and Ahmad Bradshaw). Colts Brian Billick
@FoxSports.com10/13(+3) Dwight Freeney who? With his one sack against the Texans on Sunday, Robert Mathis now holds the single-season franchise record as well as the career franchise record in sacks.
After Sunday's weak performance against the Colts, the Chiefs experience their largest 1-week drop of the season.

@CBSSports.com
Full Listings10/5(-5) Are they as good as their record? Probably not, but they've earned the right to be in the playoffs. You can't take that away. Kansas_City ESPN.com
Full Listings10/4(-6) Where would the Chiefs be without Jamaal Charles? No player has accounted for a higher percentage of his team's yards from scrimmage this season (37.5 percent). Chiefs Brian Billick
@FoxSpots.com
Full Listings10/6(-4) It looks as if the Colts will be hosting the Chiefs in the wild-card round of the playoffs, but beating them this weekend isn't necessarily good news. Teams that won the regular-season matchup played in Weeks 16 or 17 are just 15-16 in the postseason rematch.
http://i.usatoday.net/_common/_image...roncos_50t.png Pete Prisco
@CBSSports.com1/2(+1) They can lock down the AFC's top seed by beating the Raiders. That shouldn't be a problem. Denver ESPN.com 2/2(-) How impressive are Peyton Manning's 51 touchdown passes? Twenty-one teams don't have 51 touchdown passes over the past two seasons combined. Broncos Brian Billick
@FoxSports.com2/3(+1) The Broncos' 572 points scored this season are the most ever for a team after 15 games, and they are going to have to continue that pace in the playoffs with their leaky defense — particularly without Von Miller for the duration.
http://i.usatoday.net/_common/_image...argers_50t.png Pete Prisco
@CBSSports.com16/15(-1) They are big Bengals and Jets fans this week. If those two win, and San Diego wins, the Chargers make the playoffs. San_Diego ESPN.com 12/15(+3) The Texans (2-13) and Redskins (3-12) boast the two worst records in the NFL this season. The Chargers lost to both, as well as the 4-11 Raiders. Chargers Brian Billick
@FoxSports.com11/13(+2) Even if they don't make the playoffs, I'm not sure there is another team in the NFL that has done more with less than the Chargers this season.
http://i.usatoday.net/_common/_image...aiders_50t.png Pete Prisco
@CBSSports.com30/30(-) Should Dennis Allen go or stay? Is Jon Gruden really a possibility? Oakland ESPN.com 30/30(-) The Raiders are riding a five-game losing streak with Peyton Manning and the Broncos coming to town in Week 17. The Raiders held Manning to "only" three touchdowns last time.7 Raiders Brian Billick
@FoxSports.com27/28(+1) The Raiders have 11 straight seasons without a winning record, the longest streak in the NFL.
