KC Star : KC defense fares well against Rams

ST. LOUIS | Given their continued offensive struggles, the Chiefs will have to rely on their defense to carry them through a murderous early schedule that includes games against Baltimore, Philadelphia, the Giants, Dallas and Washington. Thursday night’s final preseason game against the Rams might not have been the best preparation for that defense. The Rams played without, among others, quarterback Marc Bulger and running back Steven Jackson.
