Which player will win the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award?
For those of you who may not know what “field” means, it means any rookie that is not listed.
Sorry if anybody tried to bet and couldn't due to it being closed. I set the dates wrong. Feel free to bet now. :bananen_smilies046:
I bet $58,000.00 on Eric Berry, but not sure I did it right, lol.
 :sign0104: <----that would be me!
I'll try again, make sure I get the decimal point in the correct place. I think I just entered $58,000 without the .00, haha. Thanks for letting me know. :D
Edit...okay, I tried again entering 58,000.00...hope that's right, haha.
Bettin' on Eric Berry! ;)
Berry finally got his first interception, his tackles are pretty high. Defensive rookies are playing pretty good this year.

Just thought I'd share some odds I found at NFL Future Props an online betting site.Quote:
Three Favs include: Eric Berry (+450), Ndamukong Suh (+450), Gerald McCoy (+750)
Rolando McClain & Sean Weatherspoon are the top LB listed from my link at (+1200). LB historically do well in Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Nevertheless, my favorites would be a trio of safeties; Earl Thomas, Eric Berry and Taylor Mays.Quote:
23 times a LB has won the award, including two linebackers sharing it in 1980 both from the Atlanta Falcons. In fact, linebackers have won the last 7 years in this category largely in part because of the enormous amount of tackles they can get in a season, and their athletic talent (speed and strength) allows them to cover the whole field well.

I think Eric Berry is quietly putting his name back into the race.
41 tackles 2 INT's returned for a total of 48 yards and 1 FF. Not bad at all.
