Living in Tucson and being an Arizona Wildcat football season ticket holder, I watched every game Foles played. I was really hoping the Chiefs would draft him. I also really wanted the Chiefs to...
I say if he can't get the Chiefs to the Super Bowl Feb 3rd- Fire him!!!!!!!!
The fact that Stanzi doesn't get any time with as bad as Quinn and Cassel are, tells me all I need to know. The Chiefs just don't have an NFL caliber QB.
I would NEVER want to see racist statements! I'm just talking about being tough with them. They just won't put out anything for a "players coach". They've totally taken advantage of RC being a nice...
They are going to cry like little babies if a coach gets in their face once a year. They are softer than marshmallows. Let them cry.
This is a bad year for QBs. They should have picked one up last year.
I want the meanest, nastiest, most in your face coach out there. Someone who will make Haley look like sweet gentle grandmother. Someone who will make Lambardi look like a cream puff.
One thing...
Obviously it will have to be a coach that is very tough on the players. They just won't play for a nice coach. They need someone riding them, to get them to play. They just don't do it on their own.
Obviously not all the fans were cheering for Cassel's injury but it is a sad state of affairs that many in this country seem to think hatred and anger are virtues.
I've supported Cassel up to now, but it's definitely time to give Quinn a chance. Cassel's confidence is gone. Quinn looked much more in command today. I didn't really care for what I saw in Quinn in...
I wasn't impressed with Quinn in the preseason, but I did like what I saw today in the limited time he had. His command looked much stronger.
Fantastic story Connie Joe. My father took me to my first Chiefs game in 1963. We moved from KC in 1965 but I have remained a Chiefs fan. My only Chiefs games I've been to were at Municipal Stadium...
Winston hit the nail on the head. Glad he said it. Cheering a player being knocked out is a very sad statement of the "humanity" in today's world.
I thought RC should have put in Quinn before he...
Great post. Hit the nail on the head.
It's obvious he is the type of player that always gives 100%. I was really hoping he would make the 53. As well as he did in the last two games. there would be little chance of getting him on the PS...
An injury to Quinn doesn't really hurt the team. We're not going to win any games he is the starter in anyway. I'm very concerned about any injuries to DJ. That would be a major loss.
MC has to stay healthy this year. If he gets hurt the season is over with Quinn as the starter. We need a legitimate back-up QB and more quality DB depth.
Hard finding a Chiefs bar in Arizona. Here in Tucson I go to Rusty's. Sometimes there are just two of us. A few times there has been six or more.
A couple of years ago we needed him. Now I'd stay with what we got.
He can't put on the pads for three practices, so it's likely he won't play till the GB game.
The glass half empty fans are going to whine because he's not a Pro Bowl DT after his first preseason game. The glass half full fans realize it will take time to see what he is capable of as a DT in...
Still happy with the Poe pick. Also happy to see Powe starting to come on. Gotta love having 3 DTs in competition for the starting job. We are going to have the best depth we've had there in ages.
Might be time to update the 2008 Depth Chart.
Not only is Winston a boost to the offense, but TJ no longer gets a free ride in practice. Having to go against Winston in practice will only make TJ better.
My father took me to my first Chiefs game in 1963 at Municipal Stadium. I was in the 7th grade and I've been a Chiefs fan since. It's been a roller coaster ride, but I'm really feeling good about the...
