Don't make it worse than it is....Denver got Davis and a 7th...the 49ers got 2 - 6th round picks (2016 & 2017)...

Watching him this season he has re-gained the speed he lost after his early season...
He's dealing with arthritis in his big toe if I recall correctly. Foot issues are difficult for any athlete, and only compounded when said foot has to support 300+ pounds. My guess is he is done.
From what I understand the deal is contingent on working out a contract restructure...my guess is that he may have given them a list of teams he'd be willing to renegotiate with?! His contract is...
...Brandon Lloyd too. Also the shake-up of picks that Baalke made added another 4th rounder for the 49ers next year. Essentially meaning they picked up Johnson for their fourth and later picked up...
I was a little older, but to be honest remember the day that the 49ers let Joe Montana go...hell it is most of the reason I can fit in around here as an 'outsider'. I would draw a parallel for your...
Congrats guys!!!
Asomugha is a backup...he's on the bubble for even making the roster.
I have to say I was on hiatus as well, and hell apparently froze over?!
Canada sober? Can it be so....lol, congrats really!!!
I'd probably swap out Ronnie Lott and put in Eddie Debartolo...he didn't play or coach but he made all the right decisions.
It will be very interesting to see if Reid is flexible enough to take advantage of the personnel he has been handed. If he tries to run a pass-heavy WCO with this personnel he is not taking...
For you guys I'd say
Lamar, Dawson, DT & Tony G....but I would think that Hank Stram may be a consideration?!
I will resist hijacking the thread with a 49er list. :bananen_smilies046:
haha, I'm not sure Jamarcus could handle the differing tasks at RT. He'd have a hard time deciding who to block on a blitz package.
hey guys, figured I'd drop in on this thread first as my boys got Lattimore. I'm actually pretty thrilled on getting him as I see him as a guy who could theoretically be a Gore clone in a few years. ...
While the thought is often true, in this case Manning had NOTHING to do with Denver's rushing game. They were the #1 rushing offense in the league in 2011 (164.5 yards per game), and #16 rushing...
Jamarcus Russell was never a cerebral QB, which is why his talent didn't translate to the NFL. He couldn't read a defense, which didn't matter in college when he was bigger, stronger and faster than...
I doubt the niners will waste the picks...they have so few roster spots that aren't settled, they are likely to group draft picks together to move up, or get picks for future years. I don't expect...
I'd guess a wild card would be a reasonable expectation for Smith, but hard to see you guys winning the division this next year unless some other major roster changes are made.
The problem wasn't his 40 time...it was the split on his first 10 yards..that was one of the slowest at the position. He will get drafted, but unless he comes in at his pro day closer to the 4.70 he...
They did run the 'roll-out' play on first down....but the problem is that all of a sudden the coaches forgot that Baltimore's big run-stopper up the middle was out of the game...why didn't they ever...
:sign0085: There isn't enough beer to make this feel better....
He played big / fast and dominant through most of college, but so have MANY players that didn't translate to the NFL. In the one game where he opposed NFL level players he looked out-classed. That...
I don't know Muir specifically, but if you guys are really staying with a 3-4 front then I can't imagine that ANYONE from the Colts defensive front would be a good fit. The Colts have been...
As the draft class for QB is fairly weak, I suspect that they may trade down to position themselves for a QB, and a team that is seeking a defensive star may be willing to move up.
I thought about Graham on the list, but Staubach and Baugh were outside my top 10 for sure. To me Warner is the antithesis of Namath, Bradshaw or Elway...unlike these 3, Warner is under-rated by...
Who cares if he lied or not? Seriously we're talking about an NFL linebacker...you have felons, thugs, jerks and worse in that group that have been all-pros and hall of famers. If the worse thing...
