Default Can Cassel be a leader?

Not just our QB, but a leader...with inspirational speeches.

I would like him to be like Drew Brees.

Can he command the respect of a leader in the huddle considering how inexperienced he is? I think that's a better question.

Even Chan Gailey said a month ago that "only the staff truly sees how special this guy is going to be"...and I have, (just like most of us) watched every single second of every single press conference. And like the majority of those of us that have, I truly believe that Matt Cassel is going to be our quaterback for many years to come with great success...
----Does anyone remember Haley saying before training camp started he had to kick Cassel out of the office because he was constantly asking questions, offering suggestions, trying to get on board? It shows the guys level of commitment, work ethic, and passion...
Again, Matt Cassel is our quaterback for a long time, and I think he will be the hero of this town sooner than later.

I think that Cassels sucess last year was most due to the system he was in. I'm not saying he can't be a great QB if we build the system right.

Heres the answer. Yes he can.
The only reason a beer sweats around Canada is because he's decided it will be the next beer he drinks.
