I don't know if there is already something in place and I just can't find it, but maybe a place where I can type in the title of a thread and be directed there. Sometimes I forget where a particular thread is and it takes me forever to find it. Just a thought!!

You should see a search button at the top right part of your screen. that should help you.

If you have recently posted in the thread, you can go to your User CP and search through your recent posts.

I know that that isn't as easy as a quick search option, but it may help, for now.
