I would bet money that all of you who say how good Cassel played today would be roasting Brodie if he had played the exact same game.
I'm all for letting the guy gel with the team and hope that he will be the QB for our team for years to come but he did not play well this game.

I don't think he played that well at all. He showed toughness and his TD pass was great, but the picks and that crap at the end of the 1st half was inexcusable.

You must have missed where I said he may have just been rusty, so we'll see how he does next week.

He definitely has the ability to improvise, and that's good, but I watched him spike way too many throws, and mismanage the clock at the end of the first half by throwing to a guy way too far in bounds with no time outs left. I believe even a field goal would have made this a more interesting game, eh?

No, but their atrocious O-line, meh running game, even more meh special teams makes it possible. Add to that- it's in Arrowhead, it's entirely possible.

We've beaten better teams before when we weren't supposed to. But if you want to load up the bandwagon and join everyone who wants to sit around crying in their beer, abandoning ship and calling for mass executions every week- carry on.

Oh, I don't know if anyone else noticed, but I think the Chiefs defense was playing quite a bit of the dreaded PREVENT on that final Raiders drive. All it did was prevent us from winning.

But as a huge positive- did anyone notice that Dorsey and Tank are two of our leading tacklers? I don't think either of them is the top guy, but both are getting the job done, I'd say.

Now if we could just get some more pressure on QBs.

Oh yeah, those guys were phenomenal. The whole defense was really, with the exception of Beisel. They deserved the win more than anyone on that field.
