Those were the days...

I like to think of the Joe Montana era in KC as my good ole days- we won some playoff games then.
But that group under Vermeil was astounding on offense. And at about 3:16, that block by Trent Green is great!
Thanks for posting that.

Every single offensive play used to seem so magical, almost as if the water parted and then Priest and Richardson would be sprinting for the end zone. You practically couldn't blink between touchdowns.
I almost wish I didn't watch that.

'Twas an exciting time in the history of Chiefs football!
If only we would have had, at the least, a mediocre defense back then......(sigh)
YEP!! I use to say that same thing so often back then! Seemed like whenever we had a great offense we didn't have the defense, or vice versa.
I'm just hoping I get to watch a Chiefs Super Bowl return from Earth, rather than Heaven, hahaha.
Super Bowl IV...I was 13 yrs old...watched with my dad & brothers, but the only memory I have is thinking Lenny Dawson was cute, lol. I'm still waiting 39 yrs later as patiently as possible...hoping to watch a Chiefs Super Bowl as an adult! Been a long wait, hahaha.
