I agree that the award is premature. I hear a lot of talk and very little has been accomplished for the people. I certainly don't believe in all the bail outs for large corporations. He is not the first president to address the health insurance issue and I doubt he ever gets anything substantial acccomplished. As far as foriegn policy, again a lot of talk and no action.
We cannot blame the man for getting the award, that is the part I do not understand from my friends on the right. I do believe that the Nobel Peace Prize was devalued yet AGAIN. It could have been a case that there was just no one else out there to give it to? I mean really, who else on the world stage is doing anything these days?
I am not an Obama fan, but I have give him props for winning the award, did he deserve it? Compared to other people who have gotten it, probably not, I mean look how long it took for Mother Theresa to get it for pete's sake. But he got it, let him bask in his win.
And let's all hope that he is able to bring peace.
Are you man enough? Eric Berry? Apparently Not!
I'm not sure he has done anything to earn this award...
SHUT IT
Yeah. I'll agree with the "lots of talk. no action" concept.
But would be willing, even interested, to hear what reasons those who decided would give for their choice.
