Default Stacking up on draft picks?

I've never really been a big fan of it. This is what Herm did and now we got a team full of "talented" young players. Why not go out and get a couple veteran players (and I don't mean a bunch of guys like Vrabel old) instead of taking a chance on a bunch of rookies. You're taking a chance either way but the chances of a rookie not cutting it in the NFL is much higher. Plus you're gonna be paying almost as much for a 1st round draft pick.

The Chiefs already have a young talented team. They don't need more young talented players. They need some players with some experience to teach them and show them how to be leaders.

Anyone else here not a fan of stacking up on draft picks?

Remember the Patriots have stockpiled draft picks, and traded pakages of them for players for years. Hopefully Pioli does the same here.

I agree that just stacking the picks is what got the chiefs into this mess in the first place. They went far to young. I think the diffrance will be the chiefs will actualy be ACTIVE in the free agent market. Thats something that Herm and CP didnt do while they were stacking the picks. It will bring Lots of players to KC and create a good team. We will see the Chiefs have lots of players to give up.

Soon the kansas city patriots will be doing what new england does on draft day and have room to make crazy trades with our million picks.
