I never did think he ever reached the superstar status that he was projected to. Average, solid, reliable backer, but nothing really special.

Yeah, the same was said about Pollard too. Not as good as everyone let on, yet what we have is clearly no better as our defense is still not cream of.
Are you man enough? Eric Berry? Apparently Not!

Pollard was average as well. Eleven average defenders does not make a great defense. (IMO we normally have 10 average players on the field as Flowers plays above average.)
