There is a Beatles song relating to Kansas City also. Then there's the one called "Kansas City Lights"...can't remember the dude's name who sang it, a country artist, lol.

I love Blues too Aussie, so yes, very familiar with Fat's Domino's version, as well as the one stricken mentioned. In fact, last week I began playing around with re-writing the words to this Kansas City song to use in my Facebook status later this week, hahaha.
